General Agreement
By purchasing or installing any application developed by EZ Components (the “Developer”), you (the “User” or “Site Owner”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all apps, tools, and custom elements provided by the Developer.
License Grant & Ownership
The Developer retains full ownership and control over the source code. We do not sell the code itself; we sell a Limited Usage License.
- Individual/Enterprise: This license allows the User to implement the component on a website that they fully own.
- Non-Transferable: A license bought by an individual contractor cannot be “passed on” to an enterprise client. If an enterprise hires a developer to build a site, the enterprise (as the owner of the final domain) must hold its own license for the component.
- Modification: You are permitted to copy and modify the source code for personal integration and styling purposes only within the licensed project.
Usage & Redistribution Restrictions
You strictly agree NOT to:
- Redistribute: You may not share, sell, or give away the source code to third parties.
- Marketplace Resale: You may not include our code in a template or theme intended for resale on marketplaces (e.g., ThemeForest, Framer Templates) without a specific Extended License (contact us for this).
- Framer Usage: For Framer components, you may not redistribute the component URLs to third parties. Access is restricted to the licensed user.
- Reverse Engineering: You may not attempt to extract the core logic for the purpose of creating a competing product.
Marketplaces & Subscriptions
While we currently do not use a subscription model, we reserve the right to distribute our components through third-party marketplaces in the future.
- Marketplace Rules: If a component is purchased through a marketplace that enforces a subscription or specific licensing model (e.g., Framer Marketplace, LemonSqueezy), those marketplace terms will take precedence over our standard terms regarding billing and access.
Billing and Refunds
All financial transactions are handled by our designated payment processors.
- Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the source code, refunds are generally not provided once the code has been accessed or downloaded, subject to the specific policies of the payment processor.
- Pricing: We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time.
Intellectual Property
All rights, titles, and interests in the App—including software code, math logic, and design—remain the exclusive property of EZ Components.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
- “As Is”: Components are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the App will be compatible with all third-party scripts or unique site configurations.
- Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, EZ Components shall not be liable for any damages (loss of revenue, site performance issues) resulting from the use of the component.
Support
We are not legally obligated to provide custom support, site-specific coding, or design services. However, we value our users and are open to chat and provide best-effort assistance.
